The Black Creek Festival 2008 was a wonderful event. Although it was pouring at 5:45 a.m, by 7:30 the sun came shining through and it was warm and sunny all day. This year there were more vendors, more activities for children, and more historic re-enactment. The Nanticoke Lenni Lenape danced all afternoon in full regalia. Next year’s event will feature more American Indian activities, vendors, and events. Stay tuned for next year’s date.
